FAQ

Straight answers on websites, AI, and process.

Short answers to the questions that usually come before a brief. If something is missing, email and ask.

These answers cover how website and AI projects are scoped, who owns what, and how communication works. They are not a substitute for a written proposal. Prices are not listed as flat packages because briefs differ; you get a fixed number before work starts.

What kinds of websites do you build?

One-page and multi-page sites for small businesses: trades, hospitality, tutoring, clinics, and similar operators. Hand-coded, fast, and scoped in writing. Large ecommerce catalogues and custom apps are usually a different kind of project.

Do you offer SEO and Google Business Profile help?

Yes. Technical SEO ships with the site — titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap, robots, and useful schema. Google Business Profile setup or cleanup can sit alongside the build so name, categories, hours, and website match. See the websites page and Google Business Profile basics.

What does practical AI work include?

Readiness assessments, team training on your real work, workflow design for one or two processes, and tool selection under your accounts. Optional month-to-month advisory. It is not a generic chatbot install and not a change-management programme. More on practical AI.

How does pricing work?

Scope and price are fixed in writing before work starts. You get clear inclusions, exclusions, and a timeline. There are no published package prices here because briefs differ. You will know the number before anything is billed.

How long does a typical website take?

Many small business sites land in a few weeks once content and feedback are available. Timelines are written into the scope. Delays usually come from missing copy or photos, not from mystery build steps.

Who owns the domain, code, and accounts?

You do. Domain registration, hosting, repositories, and tool accounts stay in your name. Handover includes access and a short checklist. There is no lock-in to a proprietary page builder.

What happens after launch?

You can run the site yourself, ask for small edits later, or leave it alone. Ongoing retainers are optional. AI advisory, if used, is month to month.

Do you work only with local businesses?

No. The site and services are positioned worldwide. Work is remote-friendly. There is no requirement to meet in person.

Who will I work with?

Ryan. One operator for design, build, and AI scoping. That keeps communication short and the work accountable.

Can you redesign an existing site?

Yes, when a rebuild is cleaner than fighting an old theme. Sometimes a lighter refresh is enough. You will get a recommendation either way, with the trade-offs stated plainly.

Do you write the copy?

Copy can be drafted from your notes and examples, then edited with you. Final wording stays yours. For specialised industries, you supply the facts; structure and clarity are handled in the build.

Will my site work on mobile?

Yes. Layouts are designed for phones first. Forms, phone links, and key content are checked on small screens before handover.

What about hosting and email?

Help is available choosing and connecting domain, hosting, and business email under your accounts. Recommendations favour simplicity and ownership over lock-in.

Can AI work and website work happen together?

Yes. They can be scoped as one project or sequenced. A common pattern is ship the site for discovery, then tighten quoting or follow-ups. See the websites and AI pages for how each side is framed.

Do you provide content photography?

Photography is not a default package. Strong existing photos are preferred. A short shot list can be provided so you or a local photographer know what to capture. Stock imagery is used sparingly and only when it does not misrepresent the business.

What if I already have a domain?

Keep it. DNS can be pointed at new hosting when the site is ready. Access stays with you. If the domain is locked to an old vendor, that is sorted carefully before cutover.

How are payments handled?

Payment terms are written into the scope. Typical patterns use a deposit to start and the balance on handover. Details depend on project size and are agreed before work begins.

Is support available after hours?

Normal response is within one business day. Urgent production issues are handled as they arise when they are part of active work. There is no 24/7 call centre promise.

Still unsure?

Send the requirement. You will get a clear yes, no, or clarifying question — not a pitch deck.
